Custom Centerplates flanges for centerless buffs.
The custom centerplates give that added sense of safety and help make changing buffs effortless and quick. If paired with the Arbor Extensions you can also stack buffs 2 wide to cover even more surface area. These plates will clamp down on the clinch ring of the buff for added security. So not only are they faster to swap out but help make safety your number one concern.
The Custom centerplates are for use with the centerless buffs only. They will not work with the purchase of buffs with welded centerplates.

Love them. No balancing issues at all

Within the first 15 minutes of using the plastic safety plates I slightly bumped an edge, the plate broke and the center flew out of the wheel. I purchased these aluminum plates from Even and no more problem. My buffing wheels all had the non-welded centers so I simply removed them. Great product and well worth the money. Love doing business with Mom & Pop shops. PS: Thanks for all the great learning videos! Sam

Got to be honest..for $60, I'm less than impressed with these. Given their thickness', plus the necessary gap between them, I see why there is an option for an extension for the arbor. I would think with a recess on the backing washer to allow it to fit a bit closer to the grinder housing, and reconfiguring the threaded section so it would be a raised section to "reach" into the wheels center, it would provide for more engagement of the threads. ( I barely had enough length on my grinders arbor to sufficiently get the hub attached. And I do mean barely.) Pretty spendy chunks iof aluminum. That aside, I'd like to give kudos for the dedication and willingness to share your knowledge and tricks. I've wanted to learn how to polish aluminum for years, but, until recently, didnt take the time to you tube it. Keep up the videos. Pretty straight forward and you obviously want to help people out, and that's awesome. Thx again!

Wouldn't want to polish any other way after using these center plates. Have yet to find a product from Evan's that I don't LOVE!

Precisely machined to fit all center less airway buffs. Best safety flanges on the market.

Works great and fits well a lot better than what they come with

Love the safety of this product. I tried the cheap plastic ones before and nothing beats the quality of these that Evan’s have strongly suggested if your polishing with any kind of buffer.
