1st AYD brake cleaner is the best of the best in the industry. We use it here at Evan's Detailing and Polishing for removing tar on wheels. Also works great for cleaning out the insides of the grinders. This is just another handy tool to have in your arsenal. We've been using this for years with great results.
Pair the brake clean with one of our white microfibers. This method is one of the quickest ways to get prepped for polish. Give up on the days of acid washing your wheels. Just a simple detergent wash and some tar removal and you are ready to go. Using this method has helped us cut down on our prep times.

I will say I thought all brake cleaner was the same but this stuff is all I will use now it is fantastic at getting asphalt off of wheels on a dump truck and also a great prep cleaner you can't go wrong with 1st Ayd
